Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Working Arrangements: There is a flexible working arrangement in line with most fundraising roles.

Additional Benefits: The pension is currently 3% employer, 5% employee.
About the Organisation:
Camphill Estates is a Scottish charity that owns and stewards the land and properties used by five independent Camphill charities in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire: Beannachar, Camphill School Aberdeen, Camphill Wellbeing Trust, Simeon Care for the Elderly, and Tigh a’Chomainn.
Camphill Estates works in partnership with four independent Camphill charities and a social enterprise, each dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the local and wider community of Aberdeen City & Shire. Their work spans all age groups - from early years to older age - and covers a wide range of areas, including health and wellbeing, education, lifelong learning, social care, and sustainability.
While these organisations are independently governed, they share a common ethos rooted in the Camphill tradition: inclusion, dignity, purposeful living, and a deep connection to community and place.
“Everyone is appreciated for who they are, their unique personality and the special qualities they bring to community life.”
We maintain and develop the land, heritage buildings, infrastructure, and green spaces across the estates - most notably as stewards of the historic Camphill and Murtle Estates, where the global Camphill movement began in 1939.
In addition to our role as landowners and custodians, we provide a professional fundraising function for Beannachar, Camphill School Aberdeen, Camphill Wellbeing Trust, and Simeon Care for the Elderly. While we support the land and buildings at Tigh a’Chomainn, we do not currently fundraise on their behalf.
Following a strategic review and planning process, we have identified over £15 million in capital projects aimed at improving and expanding the facilities that underpin this vital work. Our experienced fundraising team is focused on delivering transformational funding to ensure these organisations - and the people they support - can thrive for generations to come.
About the Role:
As Senior Fundraising Executive (Trusts and Foundations), you will be responsible for raising mid-level grants - typically in the £10,000 to £100,000 range - from trusts, foundations, and public funders. These grants will support a wide range of capital, community, and sustainability projects across Camphill Estates and the four Camphill charities we fundraise for.
You’ll report to the Director of Fundraising and work closely with the Fundraising Manager, who oversees day-to-day fundraising operations and strategy delivery. You will also collaborate with our Fundraising Executive, who focuses on lower-level grants, and the wider estates and charity teams to develop strong, funder-ready proposals with clear impact.
We’re looking for someone with proven success in securing five and six figure grants, who can combine strategic thinking with exceptional storytelling. You’ll need excellent written and verbal communication skills, a good grasp of project development and budgeting, and the ability to build and sustain productive relationships with funders.
You’ll be joining a small, motivated and collaborative fundraising team where mutual support, ambition and shared purpose are at the heart of how we work. Your contribution will directly support the growth and sustainability of some of the most impactful charities in the North of Scotland.
This is more than a job - it’s a chance to be part of something meaningful. A place where your skills will help transform lives, protect heritage, and support inclusive communities to thrive for generations to come.
