Position: Fundraising Executive
Location: Murtle Estate, Bieldside, Aberdeen (with flexibility for occasional remote working)
Reports to: Fundraising Manager
Salary: £35,000
Contract Type: Permanent / 37.5 Hours per week
Camphill Estates is seeking a talented, motivated, and proactive Fundraising Executive to join our growing fundraising team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled fundraiser to make a tangible impact — generating income that supports four partner charities: Beannachar, Camphill School Aberdeen, Camphill Wellbeing Trust, and Simeon Care for the Elderly.
As Fundraising Executive, you will focus on securing funding from trusts, foundations, and other grant-giving bodies, supporting a wide range of capital and revenue projects. You will work closely with the Fundraising Manager, Senior Fundraising Executive, and colleagues across our partner charities to research funders, write compelling applications, and nurture relationships that lead to sustainable income growth. You will also contribute to other fundraising activities, including corporate partnerships and events, helping to build a diverse and resilient income stream.

What will you do as Fundraising Executive?
You will coordinate and deliver fundraising for trusts, foundations, and grant-giving bodies, supporting a variety of projects including capital developments, equipment purchases, and programme delivery. Key responsibilities include:

• Research and identify relevant trusts, foundations, and other funders.
• Develop and maintain a diverse pipeline of funding opportunities.
• Write and submit high-quality funding applications and reports tailored to each funder’s requirements.
• Support the stewardship of funders through ongoing communication, reporting, and relationship management.
• Collaborate with colleagues and partner charities to gather project information, stories, and impact data.
• Maintain accurate records of fundraising activity using Salesforce CRM.
• Contribute to wider team fundraising activities, including corporate engagement and events, as required.
What does Camphill Estates need from you?
1. Experience:
• Minimum of two years’ experience in trust and foundation fundraising or a related grant-seeking role.
• Proven ability to write compelling funding applications and reports.
• Experience managing multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
• Experience using data, IT systems, and research to support fundraising growth (desirable).
• Familiarity with Scottish charitable funders (desirable).

• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong storytelling skills.
• Strong research, analytical, and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
• Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines.
• Empathy with and understanding of Camphill Estates’ mission and values.
• Confident using Microsoft 365; experience with Salesforce CRM desirable.
• Driving licence helpful but not essential.
